Privacy Policy

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

'TradeSignal' (the 'Service') processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed will not be used for purposes other than those listed below. If the purpose of use changes, we will take necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent.

  • Account registration and management: identifying members, confirming intent to use the Service, and preventing fraudulent use.
  • Service operation: providing stock signal analysis, syncing watchlists, and delivering notifications.
  • Customer support: verifying the requester, checking inquiries, and contacting users for fact-finding when needed.

2. Categories of Personal Information Processed

The Service processes the following categories of personal information.

  • Social login information: email address, name, and profile image provided by Google, Kakao, or Naver.
  • Service usage records: watchlists, configured rule formulas, and service visit records.
  • Device information: device identifiers and operating system information for push notifications.
  • Advertising information: advertising identifier, device information, approximate location inferred from the IP address, and ad impression and click records, used to show ads in the app (see Section 6).

3. Retention and Use Period

In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. However, when retention is required by applicable laws, the information is stored for the period specified by those laws.

4. User Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users may view or edit their registered personal information at any time and may request account deletion or withdrawal of consent. These rights can be exercised through the account deletion feature in settings or by contacting customer support.

5. Safeguards for Personal Information

The Service takes technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted communication (SSL) and restricted database access.

6. Advertising

Instead of charging a fee, the Service shows Google AdMob ads at the bottom of the iOS and Android app screens. The ads are provided by Google LLC (United States). To show ads and measure their performance, Google may collect and use, directly from the app, the advertising identifier, device information, approximate location inferred from the IP address, and ad impression and click records.

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their consent to ad personalization when they first open the app, and can change it at any time under My > Ad privacy choices. All users can reset the advertising identifier or turn off personalized ads in their device settings.

For how Google processes this information, see the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and 'How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services' (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). The Service does not share account information such as your name or email with Google for advertising.
